Trial Class
Is there a trial class?
Yes, we do provide a free 25-minute trial lesson or demo class. This gives prospective students a chance to see if they are comfortable with our class and teacher before they sign up.
Can I have more than one trial class?
Sure, you can. We only provide ONE free trial lesson. If you wish to have more trial lessons, you will be billed at our 4-hour rate.
How fast can you set up a free trial lesson?
We need minimum 3 days to set up a free trial lesson.
Payment
Can we pay in installments?
No. Our system is based on Packages. You can select and pay for the package that is suitable for you.
Can I purchase more than 20 hours of classes?
Yes, you can. Our rate will still be based on the 20-hour package which is our lowest rate.
Do I get a refund if I want to discontinue classes?
Absolutely. We have a refund policy in place.
Can I pay after I take the class?
No, all classes must be pre-booked and pre-paid.
What mode of payment do you accept?
We accept payment by PayPal, Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Card.
Tutors
Am I going to have the same tutor or will tutors be different each time?
A regular tutor will be assigned to you. That tutor is usually the same one who did your trial lesson.
Can I request for a change of tutor anytime through the course?
Yes, you can. You’ll just need to tell us your specific requirements, and we will try our best to accommodate your needs.
Are the tutors native Spanish speakers?
Yes, all our tutors are Spanish native speakers.
Classes
How is the class delivered?
- Our IB Spanish classes are delivered online through Zoom, Meet or Teams with a ‘live’ teacher (not pre-recorded videos).
- Our IB Spanish classes are delivered as a customised private lesson (1:1) or semi-private lesson (2:1).
Do you provide group classes?
Our maximum number in a class is 2 students since all classes are customised to students’ needs.
Can I take the class on a different day and time every week?
No, we only work with a regular schedule. So it has to be the same day and time each week.
Learning Materials
Do you provide any book for the student to follow?
We provide our own lesson notes. If you want the teacher to follow a specific book, the teacher can do so. You might need to send a PDF copy to the teacher if we don’t have it in our database.
Do we have to pay extra for learning materials?
No, these are included in the price. However, Model Answers have to be purchased separately.
